PG&E told us homeowners that the pipeline next to the beds in which we sleep is in wonderful condition, and they would never consider it a danger to anyone. Would PG&E lie to us about this, simply because they lied about so much else?
This site claims that the aging infrastructure of pipelines is in terrible shape nationally, and that it is a disaster waiting to happen, everywhere. Our fears about PG&E are most likely true, although from PG&E's standpoint, lying to us seem to be the cheapest course of action for it now. We are simply part of PG&E's cost benefit analysis, and we do not rate very high.
