July, 2012: PG&E Begins Home Visitation Meetings
August 2: Kiet Do, news reporter from CBS SF Bay Area, interviews Beto Tellería for 11:00pm segment.
August 3: Daniel DeBolt of Mountain View Voice writes an article on reaction to PG&E plans.
September 11: Ken Hauck and Dennis Goldwater separately address the Mountain View City Council.
October 2: Homeowner Meeting with PG&E at the Public Library, facilitated by Mike Fuller, Director of the Department of Public Works. Unfortunately, among the numerous PG&E representatives at the meeting, there was "no one authorized" to provide any answers to any questions except those expressing concerns for safety, all of which were insultingly dismissed as unimportant to PG&E, and the simple response to all questions addressing the legality of PG&E's plan was "No Comment."
October 2: The Mayor of Mountain View delivered an excellent letter to PG&E, once again strongly encouraging PG&E to work with the city to find a way to relocate the pipe.
October 5: Another article by Daniel DeBolt, covering the October 2 meeting at the library.
Mid October: Homeowners hear about the Mayor's well-written letter that was delivered to PG&E, requesting that PG&E work with the city to find another way. We opted to wait until there was a response to this from PG&E.
We did not know that PG&E would simply ignore the request and never even respond at all to the letter or to follow-up emails.
November: One follow up call by PG&E, asking us to call if we had any questions.
December 1: A letter from PG&E demanding that we give in by December 19, or their lawyers would get involved.
Second week of January, 2013: Launch of this website.
January 23: Another article by Daniel DeBolt: PG&E threatens residents with legal action.
January 24: Jean Elle, news reporter from NBC Bay Area, interviews Dennis Goldwater for 11:00pm segment.
January 28: Peter Jon Shuler, public radio reporter for KQED News, does a piece on the PG&E issue. KQED does not post a record of pieces that are this small on their web site, but KQED did provide a copy of the script.
February 9: Justin Berton, staff writer for the San Francisco Chronicle, wrote an article on the PG&E issue. It seems that some experts also doubt PG&E motives.
